Single-board computers

A single board computer is a complete computer with a soldered-on CPU and sometimes also memory and storage media. There are usually several expansion slots and connectors for standard interfaces. Common board formats are 2.5" (also called Pico-ITX), 3.5" and EPIC.
Single board computers and CPU modules are available with either ARM or x86 as the CPU architecture. ARM-based systems are generally low-power and have a long production cycle. x86-based systems are often more powerful and have more interfaces.
