At ACTE Solutions, we see sustainability as a natural part of our business. We actively work to reduce our environmental impact, create more resource-efficient products and contribute to a circular economy. Through innovative solutions and strategic partnerships, we strive to develop technical solutions that are both sustainable and competitive.
Sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
At ACTE, we are actively working to reduce our climate and environmental impact. The environment is everyone's responsibility and we take our sustainability work very seriously.
By choosing environmentally friendly electricity, sorting our waste according to environmental standards and working with shippers who have an active environmental programme, we reduce our footprint. We also strive to optimise our processes, for example by finding more climate-friendly ways of shipping and deliveries.
In the long run, our internal sustainability work also helps our customers to reduce their climate impact as we are part of their supply chain.
The UN has defined 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that aim to eradicate poverty, protect the environment and promote gender equality. In our sustainability work, we focus in particular on the following goals:
Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth
We strive to be an excellent employer for our staff. Every employee has the right to feel safe and heard in their workplace. We offer decent working conditions while promoting sustainable economic growth and improved resource efficiency in consumption and production.
Objective 12: Sustainable consumption and production
Sustainable production is a central part of our work. We work continuously to find suppliers and partners who share our values and work in a sustainable way. We manage chemicals and waste according to prescribed guidelines and ensure that our suppliers fulfil our high standards of quality and environmental responsibility.
Goal 13: Combat climate change
We are actively working to reduce our climate impact by
- Using environmentally friendly electricity in our premises.
- Optimise our processes to find more climate-friendly methods of shipping and delivery.
- Cooperate with freight forwarders who have an active environmental programme.
Through these actions, we are helping to combat climate change and support sustainable development.

Sustainability project with Vinnova - ACTE invests in circular electronics
ACTE is committed to reducing our environmental impact and creating more sustainable technological solutions. As part of our commitment, we have launched a sustainability project in 2025 in collaboration with Vinnova and other players in the electronics industry.
A central part of the project is the development of a digital product passport - an innovative solution to increase transparency on the sustainability, life cycle and circularity of our products. The product passport will contain valuable information on material choices, recyclability and environmental impact, helping both customers and suppliers to make more sustainable decisions. By designing electronics with a longer lifespan, efficient resource management and better recycling options, ACTE Solutions is actively contributing to the transition towards a circular economy. Sustainability and circularity - Extending product life
To reduce electronic waste and optimise the use of resources, we work actively to extend the life of our products. Through the possibility of upgrading and repairing products even after the end of the warranty period, we help our customers to reduce the need for new production and instead maximise the benefit of existing products.
