Cookie policy
What is a cookie?
We use cookies to improve your experience on our site, we do not store any personal information in the cookie. Cookies on our site allow you to log in to your account, and update your information. In order to use our site, cookies need to be enabled. If you have any questions about our cookies, please contact us.
A cookie is a small text file that a website requests to be saved on the visitor's computer. Cookies are used on many websites to give a visitor access to various functions. The information contained in the cookie can be used to track a user's browsing behaviour on websites that use the same cookie.
There are two types of cookies. One type saves a file for a longer period of time on the visitor's computer, the cookie then has an expiry date. It is used, for example, for functions that tell you what is new since the user last visited the website in question. Once the expiry date has passed, the cookie is deleted when the user returns to the website that created it.
The second type of cookie is called a session cookie and has no expiry date. While a user is browsing a site, this cookie is temporarily stored in the user's computer's memory, for example to keep track of the language they have chosen. Session cookies are not stored for a longer period of time on the user's computer, but disappear when the user closes their browser.
What does the law say?
According to the Electronic Communications Act, everyone who visits a website must be given access to information about the fact that the website contains cookies and the purpose of the use of cookies. The visitor must also consent to the use of cookies. We are working to develop a functional and secure technical solution for how consent is to be given.
How to find and control cookies
All browsers are different. Check the help function in your browser for information on how to change the cookie settings. Here we show you how to do this in Internet Explorer 9.
Go to Tools and Internet Options. The " Internet Options " window opens. Select Privacy. Set how you want your browser to handle cookies and click "OK".
If you disable cookies, you will lose several benefits on the site, for example, you will not be able to log in and manage your account with us. Some pages cannot be displayed at all because they require the reception of cookies to be enabled.
You can delete all cookies from your hard disc yourself. You do this in your browser by going to "Tools" in the menu and selecting "Internet Options". Under the "General" tab, you can set the number of days you want web pages to be saved.
