Panel Kits consist of joined panel and touch modules and include:
- Choice of full-size and multifunctional industrial LCD panels: Support for a range of sizes, including 7"/8"/10.1"/10.4"/12.1"/15"/15.6"/17"/21.5"/22" and aspect ratios, such as 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10. To meet the requirements of specific application scenarios, additional options are available for brightness, contrast ratio, viewing angle and operating temperature.
- Two types of joining options:
- Air-bound joining uses adhesives to join the display panel and the touch panel from four sides. This is a cost-effective option and fits many solutions in most application areas.
- Optical joining provides benefits such as glare control and reduced reflection. This joining process is typically used for sunlit solutions and for higher surface protection. Depending on the requirements, different types of coating can be selected to achieve anti-UV, anti-fingerprint effects and increased screen brightness, making it particularly suitable for outdoor use.
- Multitouch projected capacitive touch panel or 5-wire resistive touch panel:
- Projected capacitive touch panel is more transparent, scratch-resistant, sensitive and supports multi-touch.
- 5-wire resistive touch panel is cheaper to produce and thus the most cost-effective touchscreen solution. It can accurately register touch commands with just your finger, pen or glove, and can be used even in slightly humid environments.
Panel Kits are developed for manufacturers who already have mechanical design capabilities and for those who have existing SBC or embedded systems and need Panel Kits for touch screen capabilities in their projects.
