VMS-EHLR is a robust embedded system from Avalue for rail transport, specifically developed for use in modern public transport systems such as light rail, metro and rapid transit. Equipped with Intel® Elkhart Lake Atom™ x6425E processor and designed to work with EPM-1721 power blocks, VMS-EHLR offers an energy-efficient and smart solution for transport monitoring and coordination.

VMS-EHLR acts as a coordinating interface for monitoring and data collection from various transmitters and equipment via different protocols. By leveraging cloud technologies, IoT and AI monitoring, the system can perform real-time detections and integrate recommended strategies for operations and alarms, enabling monitoring of key hubs in the transport system for real-time monitoring and accurate management of transport operations. Features such as first/last stop information, announcement support, overstay control, predictive maintenance/inspection, and track and gradient risk monitoring allow to significantly increase the safety level of the transport system.

With support for 4G/LTE/5G wireless communication, the VMS-EHLR can transmit large amounts of data at high speed and with low latency, making it ideal for use in emergency situations where rapid response is required. This enables a rapid response through real-time monitoring of the train system control centre. While allowing the public to access train-related information, the control centre can monitor the train status synchronously, improving the safety and efficiency of the overall railway system.
