- SeaTRAX-85º a precision compass for extreme latitudes

ART.NO: seatrax-85

Industries: Maritime , Defence

SeaTRAX-85º is an advanced compass from NIBP Sensor designed to deliver accurate heading data even in the most demanding environments, including extreme latitudes near the poles. By utilising highly sensitive magnetometers and advanced algorithms to correct for magnetic distortion and tilt angles, the SeaTRAX-85º ensures reliable and accurate measurements. With a heading accuracy of 0.25° RMS within the Arctic Circle and better than 1.5° at 85° latitude, it can deliver precise data where other sensors fail.

Its compact and energy-efficient design makes it ideal for long missions, and it is less than half the size of traditional heading sensors while consuming one-tenth the power. This makes the SeaTRAX-85º particularly suitable for applications such as towed systems, seismic streamers, anti-submarine warfare and military operations in the Arctic and Antarctic.

The SeaTRAX-85º is a reliable and robust solution to ensure accurate navigation and heading data, even in the most extreme conditions. Ideal for explorations and operations in polar environments where precision is essential.
