DX-1200 for industrial automation
The rugged computer brand Cincoze has recently launched the on-board computer DX-1200, the latest addition to its Rugged Computing - DIAMOND product line. With a compact and high-performance design, the DX-1200 overcomes space limitations while maintaining extreme performance. The DX-1200 supports the latest 12 generation Intel Alder Lake-S processors, has a wide selection of inbuilt I/O and allows for flexible modular expansion to meet the requirements of a wide range of applications. DX-1200 inherits the robust features that characterise the DIAMOND product line, such as wide temperature and voltage range support, and shock and vibration resistance. It has also passed several industry certifications, making it an ideal choice for smart manufacturing, machine vision and edge AI applications.
12 Generation Intel performance
The DX-1200 supports 12 Generation Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5/i3 (Alder Lake-S) processors based on the Intel 7 process, with up to 16 cores (8P + 8E) and 24 threads, delivering more than 1.35 times the processing power compared to the Comet Lake-S platform. It supports up to 64GB of 4800MHz DDR5 memory with ECC technology, providing extra stability and reliability needed for industrial automation applications and effectively reducing the risk of errors and data loss. The Intel® Xe architecture of the UHD 770 graphics chip boosts GPU performance for image classification and inference to 2.8× the speed of the Comet Lake-S platform, providing the processing power required for AI and edge computing.
10GbE network and high expansion capacity
Designed to satisfy the broadest requirements of industrial applications, the DX-1200 includes a wide selection of built-in I/O interfaces and support for additional I/O options, such as LAN, M12, DIO and COM, through Cincoze's exclusive modules. For application environments that require high speed data transmission, the DX-1200 can be equipped with up to 4× 10Gbps LAN for fast transfer of large images and files. To achieve multiple network connections and reduce cable clutter, up to 8× PoE can be installed, enabling both data and power through the network cable. To meet the rapidly increasing need for wireless network connectivity in industrial applications, the DX-1200 offers one M.2 Key E slot and two Mini PCIe slots for the addition of WiFi, GNSS, 4G and Bluetooth.
Robust, safe and industry-approved
The DX-1200 embodies the rugged design of the Rugged Computing - DIAMOND product line, offering support for wide temperature range (-40 - 70°C), wide voltage range (9 - 48 VDC), and protection against overvoltage, overcurrent and ESD. The DX-1200 meets the US military standard for shock and vibration resistance MIL-STD-810G to further ensure product safety and reliability. To meet the requirements of specific industrial applications, the DX-1200 has also passed a number of industry standards, such as the EMC EN 50121-3-2 standard in EN 50155 and the fire protection standard EN 45545-2 for railway computers. The DX-1200 has become the best solution for industrial automation thanks to its extensive certifications, robust design and stable performance.
