SMARC 2.1 CPU module from TQ with Intel Atom® processors x7000E series, Intel® Core™ i3 processors and Intel® Processors N series.

The SMARC 2.1 module TQMxE41S is available with different processors in the power range of 6 W to 15 W TDP. It combines high CPU and graphics performance (including increased AI acceleration) with various high-speed interfaces such as 2x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, 4x PCIe, USB 3.2 and SATA in a compact design. High system performance is supported by LPDDR5-4800 memory and up to 256 GB industrial iNAND eMMC. Numerous other interfaces ensure easy connection of various peripheral components.

The new generation CPU microarchitecture and integrated Intel UHD Graphics Gen12 with up to 32 execution units, both from 12th Gen Intel Core processors, set new standards for CPU performance and multimedia and AI. For the first time in this performance segment, AVX256 and advanced AI instruction sets (VNNI) are supported, enabling fast AI inference and media transcoding. Together with extended security features, including TPM 2.0 support, the module is particularly well suited for applications in healthcare, IoT, industrial/robotics, retail and video & conferencing.

The launch for mass production is planned for the first half of 2023. Various carrier boards and starter kits are available for quick evaluation.
