The HPSD 8100 pressure sensor is a pressure and temperature sensor from HYB and is specially developed for low power applications with ultra-low pressure ranges and limited space. High performance and accuracy combined with a special digital interface with 24-bit ΔΣ ADC enables the use of this sensor in many pressure measurement applications. Calibration coefficients are stored in internal EEPROM for signal calculation performed with an external microcontroller via I2C or SPI interface. Standard second order temperature and pressure compensation provides 0.75% FS total error over the temperature range 0°C to 70°C. Low power supply voltage (1.71V to 5.5V), customised temperature compensated range, standard I2C interface and extremely low power consumption give OEM users maximum freedom for all types of applications with dry air or non-corrosive gases or liquids.

The HPSD 8100 series provides easy integration with a small, reflowable SMD package with connection surfaces on short edges leaving enough space for easy wiring for the end use. Pressure ports with flexibility in various options can accept standard pneumatic tubes or be customised. Different pressure ranges are available for this group, from 1 mbar up to 10 bar.
